Simple choices: accept, decline or manage optional cookies.
Cookies and similar technologies can store or read information on your device. Some are needed to provide the service you ask for. Others, such as analytics and advertising measurement, need your consent.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files or browser storage records used by websites. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They can remember choices, keep a form working, support payment return pages, protect a session, or measure how a website is used.
2. Essential storage
Essential storage is used because the website cannot work properly without it. This may include:
- Remembering your cookie choice.
- Keeping quote and booking form progress stable while you move through the booking flow.
- Supporting payment return pages after secure checkout or embedded payment steps.
- Protecting the website and admin area against misuse.
- Remembering temporary booking details so the service you requested can be provided.
These are treated as necessary because they support the service you request from the website.
3. Analytics cookies
If you allow analytics, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the website, which pages help people get a quote, and where the booking flow can be improved. We configure analytics to reduce unnecessary tracking by disabling Google signals and ad personalisation signals in our site tag.
With analytics consent, a completed booking request may include only its source, medium, campaign and external referrer hostname so we can measure whether a published resource helped the booking journey. We do not retain a referrer path or query string for this purpose.
Analytics is off unless you choose to allow it. If you decline optional cookies, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded by our tracking script.
4. Advertising cookies
If you allow advertising measurement, we load the OpenAI Pixel to understand whether an OpenAI ad led to a confirmed paid booking. The tag is not loaded and no OpenAI conversion event is sent unless you allow the Advertising option.
The website sends the standard completed-order event only after our payment-status service confirms the initial booking payment. We do not include the booking value, address, phone number, customer message or plain-text email in that event.
The Pixel can retain the OpenAI ad reference (oppref) and use automatic advanced matching. Supported contact information may be normalised and securely hashed in your browser before matching; the plain-text value is not included in the conversion event we create. A one-way hashed browser-storage marker is used to avoid counting the same confirmed booking again on refresh.
5. Managing your choices
You can accept all, decline optional cookies, or open settings to choose categories. You can also change your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking essential storage may stop the quote, payment or booking journey from working as expected.
6. Cookie and storage summary
| Category | Purpose | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|
| Essential site storage | Quote progress, booking flow, payment return pages, consent record and security. | No, where strictly necessary for the service requested. |
| Google Analytics | Measures website performance, quote starts and booking-flow improvements. | Yes. Off until allowed. |
| Advertising measurement | OpenAI ad attribution and one confirmed-order event after a paid initial booking, with a hashed local duplicate-prevention marker. | Yes. Off until allowed. |
